Stop the Expansion of Digital Police Powers!
The German federal government plans to allow the police and the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF) to cross-reference our photos, videos, voices, and other biometric data against the entire internet. There are also plans to deploy dystopian software from Palantir and similar companies. To this end, massive amounts of data are to be consolidated for centralized analysis. All of this is set to be pushed through the Bundestag as the “Sicherheits-Paket 2.0“ (Security Package 2.0) under an expedited procedure before the summer recess. At the same time, there is a new push for data retention, further surveillance regulations, and in many federal states, massive tightening of police laws is set to be implemented.
Enough is enough! We’re taking to
the streets to protest this!
